Summer Concerts 2023
The advance sale for our summer concerts from 1 to 3 June 2023 is open! We are very pleased to present a very special guest in our anniversary year: Rolando Villazón. He is considered one of the most successful tenors ever, is active as a presenter and artistic director and campaigns for the young generation in the TV show "Stars of Tomorrow". To this generation belongs the exceptional cellist Julia Hagen. She was born into a famous Austrian musical family (Hagen Quartet) and is now one of the most sought-after young cellists worldwide. Also on stage are our artistic directors Andreas Ottensamer and José Gallardo.
10th Bürgenstock Winter Festival 2023 – Jubilee
The 10th Bürgenstock Winter Festival took place from 31 January to 4 February 2023 at Villa Honegg and Kaufleuten Zurich (opening concert). The festival featured the German-Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott, whose poetic and soulful playing is falling in love with audiences and critics around the world, "America's leading baritone" Thomas Hampson, the breathtakingly virtuoso accordionist Ksenija Sidorova, the one and only Avi Avital, the German violinist Veronika Eberle and the two brothers Adrien (viola) and Christian-Pierre la Marca (cello), who not only seduce the French press to superlatives such as "hero of the viola" or "French cello elite". The artistic directors of the festival, Andreas Ottensamer (clarinet) and José Gallardo (piano), led through the concert evenings.
